Free recycling drop-off sites will soon be available in Jefferson Parish, La. Residents as programs are poised to begin.
Leaders of Jefferson Parish have announced a contract with REALCYCLE and Glass Half Full to offer weekly recycling drop-off sites in Metairie and Marrero for the next six months. The contracts come after the failed motion of a $6.1 million deal that would give out over 66,000 bins to residents for curbside recycling.
Jefferson Parish residents will have access to drop-off sites starting on April 13.
