When you leave OKW, take a right, go to the end of that road, take a right, go to the intersection of DD and all those hotels, take a left. Get to the 4 way intersection at Crossroads, take a right. Follow that to the intersection of 192, take a left, follow that for approx. 3 miles it is on your right.

Look for mile marker 14, it's right after that. Next to Medieval Times.

I will never go to this super Walmart again. We went there this past May and is was a zoo. The parking lot was full, hard to find a spot to park. Then when you get in most of the shelves were bare and was not a good time getting things. Just hop on 192 the other way and goto Public and the prices are not bad and there is not the mad house of Waste-mart.

We used to go to Super Walmart but have gone to the new Winn-Dixie near Crossroads the past year or so. If you are just looking for groceries, they have a good selection and prices are not bad, plus it's way closer. Follow Gail's directions, but at the end of Hotel Blvd make a left instead of right (Crossroads is straight), it's about a mile on the right, right after ABC Liquor.

There is also a new Publix next to the Premium Outlets (next to Mary Queen of Universe church). Turn right at the end of Hotel Resorts Blvd, get in the left lane and make the left at the light (Little Lake Bryan). It's about a mile down the road, past the outlet. While you are there, there's a Disney Outlet called Character Premiere at the Premium Outlet.

Both the Winn Dixie and Publix are miles closer than the Wal Mart with better selection of foods and the prices should be comparable. Publix tends to be cheaper than Win Dixie in FL and from what I've seen here, that is true as well. Here is another way to go from OKW to the WM and the older Publix on 192. I think this is much easier and would expect it to save a mile or 2 plus a number of redlights.

From OKW, you can get there by going out of the resort and turning left on Community Dr, then left on Bonnet Creek (at the light) to Buena Vista Drive (2nd light I think)._ Turn right and go under Epcot Center Drive (536) and take the entrance ramp going East toward Kissimmee._ On 536, go about 2 or 3 miles to the first major intersection (first light also i think) and take a right on 535. Go about 2 miles and 535 will dead end into 192._ Publix #1 is one your left._ If you turn left onto 192, Super Walmart is on your right about 1-2 miles or so.

From BW, leave the entrance and turn right on Epcot Resort Blvd._ Turn right on Buena Vista Drive and then go sourth (away from the parks and toward 192) on World Drive._ When you get to 192, go East and follow 192 about 4-5 miles and you will see Publix on the left where 536 joins with 192._ Continueing on 192, Super Walmart is a mile or two more on your right._ NOTE:_ THERE ARE DEFINITELY A COUPLE OF PUBLIX CLOSER THAN Walmart.

never got out of a walmart with less than a spend of $150
The bargains are great and If you divide your items among your group and keep to less than 20 each you can get out quick

Agree with this statement 100%.

It is a poorly maintained, poorly stocked store. I'll never go there again (and yes, we do go to WalMart here at home, so it's not just a "WalMart thing").

Can you help me. I am at a loss here. I generally go on the way from the airport and never leave Disney propert again. I have always bacltracked to the highway. Last time I thought there had to be a better way and got totally lost. Can you give directions from the Publix to OKW area

Thanks

If you follow the directions I have already posted up to the "turn left onto 192" there is a publix right at that intersection.

It totally depends on what time you go. I have yet to see a bare shelf and have had no problem parking. There is a publix right at the intersection of 535 and 192 so, you don't have to go right on 192. I can say that Wal*Mart is always busy, but, we have no problem checking out.
What I will say is that it is one of the most ill maintained WalMarts I have ever seen, outside. But, when you get that many people in one place constantly, you will have a trash problem. But, I have never had a problem with the food or the food quality and the prices are lower than anywhere around and dirt cheap compared to CT.

To get to the new Publix from the airport, take the south exit to 417 (Florida Greenway), take exit 6, International Drive. At the 536/535 intersection, make a right, then make a right at Vineland (Little Lake Bryan) which is right before the I-4 overpass. Follow Vineland about a mile, past the Premium Outlets, Publix is right after the outlets. To get to OKW from there, take Vineland back to the light at 535, turn right, then left at the next light (hotel resorts blvd, you'll see a Disney sign), then right at the Downtown Disney intersection, then left onto Community Drive, left into OKW. I think this new Publix is closer than the one at 535/192.

I can't badmouth the Super Walmart---they saved my life 3 years ago when Delta lost my luggage for 4 VERY LONG DAYS! Undies weren't budgeted into my vacation, so I was happy to find them for eighty eight cents!need directions to super-walmart from OKW (15) need directions to super-walmart from OKW (16) need directions to super-walmart from OKW (17)

If you are just going for groceries though, I'd recommend Publix.
